Potrait of the General Elections of Head Regency East Manggarai 2018.

[This picture was taken by Mr. Ary Wisang as a private document when those candidates were doing debate, fight to become a Head of Region in East Manggarai. Mr Ary is one of winning team of regent candidate from ASET (Andreas Agas, SH, M.Hum and Drs. Jaghur Stefanus. That debate was being guided by Mrs. Birgita Manohara. Birgita is a Presenter of TVONE in Jakarta]

This potrait of the General Elections of Head Regency East Manggarai, East Nusa Tenggara Province, Indonesia 2018 that become a history note of the elections process. Writer doesn't has many documents about that elections but just give alitle general description to public.

It reasons that, writer didn't had so far participated on those elections since even how to form the regency. I just heard some of informations from many refrences based on the statements, self-experiences and documents, yeah what can be trusted as normative standard.

As we know widely, East Manggarai Regency constitute a new regional of administration section that was devided by of Manggarai Regency included the West Manggarai Regency.

As I have heard until now, there were many persons who had tried to made the regency but don't have a document as a formal holding but based on the stories from prominent figures, among other things: Drs. Christian Rotok, Drs. Cypri Aoer and others. Of course, before the regency shaped based on the study of experts. Rotok often said that when he was meeting with all peoples anywhere.

As a refreshing statement, Padre Christian in one time, explained that in order to our generation do understand that: basically the government has a smart plan how to build this nation by divide a regional that be claimed widely and comfort with the norms, authomatically that ideas be manifested, for example to build a Flores Province .  And, many of peoples, alike Victor B. Laiskodat, his promised that shall be forming a new province: Flobamora: Flores, Lembata dan Alor.

He says, not only Flores but Flores shall be combinating with Lembata and Alor. His considerations is very extraordinary and top because ENT Province is widely though there are still bodies who want to be a Archipelago Province. And that thinking is egged by some of leaders from ENT and Indoesia itself, yeah depended on their vested-interest. There, have a politic issues and how to jail, get a sympatic.

Then, when the East Manggarai Regency should be formed, Drs. Christian Rotok position is still as a Regent of Manggarai at that time, awhile Drs. Cypri Aoer as a Indonesian Legislative Assembly from East Nusa Tenggara Province, by chance he is derived from Nuca Lale. Together with others, East Manggarai Regency finally had formed 2007.

After formed that regency, Frans Padju Leok as a Regent Official there. After that, Indonesia Government through the Local Electoral Commission then doing the elections. There were many candidates who had participated in that democracy party.  But, Drs. Yoseph Tote - Andreas Agas, SH, M.Hum (YOGA) as winner from that elections. YOGA then leads the regency as long as two periods. They had saw down their rivals easily because they were derived from Kota Komba dan Poco Ranaka Subdistrict. They had supported by many constituents from both subdistrict.

During two periods, they have built some of infrastructures and suprastructures, among other things: roadway, bridge, water, education and healty though that were not perfect. Still many lacks that will be working by the local government.

Then, on June 27, 2018, local electoral commision in East Manggarai Regency have done an elections. That party was being won by ASET based on the quick count calculation from the Central Electoral Commision website in Jakarta. They have success saw down their rivals, i.e : TABIR (Tarsius Sjukur Lupur - Yoseph B. Aoer), MERPATI (Marselis S - Paskalis S), NERA (Bone Uha - Frans Anggal), and SARDON (Frans Sarong - Kasmir Don) easily.

Andreas Agas, SH, M.Hum come from Poco Ranaka. He had taken Drs. Jaghur Stefanus as his vice from Kota Komba. Mr. Jaghur has many experinces in government even involved to form the East Manggarai Regency at that time. He was a Head of Borong Subdistrict and indeed as a commite of shaping the EM. But of course, they have a smart strategic to get the desk through some of elegant considerations with the principle: SANTE.

For his supporters, sante is not only as a Manggarai language that how to respect slowly what the others saying though that is bad, make fuck or error attitudes. His team have to respect slowly, sante sa. 

In spite of that expression it seems simple but has a deeply meaning because sante is a shortness from santun teman. Santun teman is an expression where we have: a clean from moral, a good attitude, respect to universal ethic or fruits of Spirit. ASET has a principle that everybody is our friend, brother and sisters.

That principle is a fondation to begin all of those strategic to make sure the East Manggarai shall be: welfare, cheering up from diseases, developing from aspect, and honor to local culture. Together all stakeholders, his self with his vice shall be holding the EM is more better from priorly. 

[Brotherhood is more important than politic. Politic is just how to get leader and momentally, friendship shall more eternal]
