THE TRIBES IN THE COAL.

Tribes.

Theodorus Tamat says, there are many clans or tribes

Wae Lowang river.

Coal as a tiny village.

in Coal. Approximatelly, there are twenty. Those clans are: Mbaru Asi, Nawang, Cireng, Tanggar, Ndajang, Ndoso, Redo, Maras, Dangka, Welak, Nua, Kepe, Bung, Suka, Rahong, Wewo, Nggorong, Lewur, Bajawa (1) dan Bajawa (2).
Cunca or waterfall, Wae Lowang is a name of river. The waterfall is located at Lenggo, Coal Rural, Kuwus Subdistrict, West Manggarai Regency, Flores Island, East Nusa Tenggara Province, Indonesia.

Small Village Around.

The cunca or waterfall is surrounded by five rurals, i.e: Nantal Rural, Kasong Rural, Sama Rural, and Lewur Rural. Near the cunca, there are five small villages, i.e: Liang Roju, Ntalung, Bea Waek, Lenggo, Coal and Lida. Coal Rural have six small villages. They are: Porong Tedeng, Ntalung, Liang Roju, Bea Waek, Watu Nenu, Lenggo, Coal and Lida.

Not only some of small villages, there are some of big gardens of local people or be mentioned as lingko around of that cunca. Lingko is a land of Gendang.  Tua Gendang is an owner of lingko.

Gardens.

Those gardens are: Raweng Ajo, Ru'a, Liang Roju, Ntalung, Tamong, Bea Waek, Watu Nenu, Lenggo, Ramegilo, Wae Lowang, Roga, Wae Ndes, Waniasa, Pahar Golo Mbilek, Rebong, Dantung, Belang Ta'ak, Da'eng I dan II, Kebe Lewe, Ngonde, Letek, Likang Lenggo, Toda, Golo Kanggor, Ros, Ndori, Wae Todo, Coal, Lombong, Lungkung, Raheng, Wae Laing, Lale, Moto, Geleng and some of other gardens.

Some of Big Rivers.

Cunca Wae Lowang is surrounded by five rivers are: Wae Ngele, Wae Ndes, Wae Rentang and Wae Ri'i. Near the Wae Lowang waterfall have two small rivers. Their name are: Wae Lete and Wae Tamong.

Wae Tamong and Wae Lete.

Wae Lowang is formed by some of wells, i.e: Raweng Ajo well, Ramegilo well, Pong Pao well included the water from Porong Tedeng. There are some of wells that derived from those niches neither from Ntalung, Porong Tedeng nor from Ramegilo.

Wae Lete is formed by two well, i.e: Wae Ara well and Wae Wako. Awhile, Wae Tamong is formed by two well included Wae Tamong and Tamong Cave well. There are well that form the Wae Tamong river.

Tourism Lane.

This is lane toward there, i.e: Ruteng - Cancar - Cara - Golo Tando - Golo Wodong - Mangge - Meler - Nggawang - Sampar - Mbelaing - Goloworok - Wela - Ntalung Pada - Golowelu, then turn rigth from Golowelu to Wela Renggang - Porong Tedeng - Ntalung - Bea Waek, Watu Nenu - Lenggo - Coal and Sama. Until to Lenggo then turn right to Lida - Lewur - Senda and Lewat and Dimpong.

Waterfall Location.

Cunca Wae Lowang or Wae Lowang waterfall is located at between Watu Nenu and Lenggo. Before until to Lenggo near a Primary Scholl of Coal has a river. The river name is Wae Lowang. Cunca Wae Lowang just 1200 meters from that dekker or small bridge.

Unique Stone.

Before entering to Coal village, will find two name of stone, i.e: Watu Ngeru and Watu Coal. Watu Ngeru just 75 meters from Gendang and in front of the Coal village has a stone and the stone name is Watu Coal.

Charcoal Stove.

Near of that school, there is a fireplace. That place name is Likang Lenggo. Likang same with charcoal stove. The likang has a certain story.

Mbaru Asi clan/tribe has a totem. Their totem are cemberuang - Garuda or mounted by god of Vishnu, mythical bird, and rata - ayam hutan or jungle fowl.  I have a totem, cemberuang and rata.  Melky Pantur is derived from Mbaru Asi tribe.
