[Coal]
[Wae Lowang river].
Coal is a small village, located at Kuwus Subdistrict, West Manggarai Regency, Flores Island, East Nusa Tenggara Province, Indonesia country.
This rural have seven small villages, among other things: Porong Tedeng, Ntalung, Liang Roju, Bea Waek, Watu Nenu, Lenggo, Lida and Coal itself.
The rural government office is centred at Lenggo, near Watu Nenu and Coal Primary School.
There are many small rivers there, i.e: Wae Lowang, Wae Lete, Wae Tamong, Wae Wako, Wae Ara, Wae Ndes, and Wae Rentang.
There have many waterfalls, such as: Wae Lowang Waterfall, Wae Ndes Waterfall, Wae Dantung Waterfall and Cunca Cekas Waterfall. Besides that, has a mystic place near Ntalung, it's name Raweng Ajo and also has a 'natural cave' at Wae Lete.
This rural is surrounded by several villages. They are Sama, Lewur, Kasong, Lando, Lareng, and Golowelu.

Sons of Coal.
Suitable with the red and slope of soil condition there, clove is a favorite plants and that is supported by the climate. Porong Tedeng, Ntalung and Liang Roju are still rather cold and while Coal and Lida have a temperate climate, so have many plants were being planted there, such as: coffee tree, nut tree, chocolate, vanila, coconut tree and others plants.
